Collection: Abstract Reflections

Explore and purchase work from my Abstract Reflections exhibition on display at ASU Gammage during the month of October. View the exhibition during performances or by appointment.

Artist's Statement: Art is a powerful tool for self-expression and healing. I hope that my work can provide others with a sense of peace or catharsis. This series juxtaposes geometric marks with ethereal movement. The vibrant colors interact, creating a sense of energy. The colors blend organically, creating a meditative quality that is both calming and stimulating. The contrasting geometric marks feel chaotic and sporadic when viewed up close, but as you look at the whole picture there is an order to the composition. A reminder to take a step back and look at the big picture when things feel tough.

These pieces will be on display through the end of October and will be delivered after the close of the exhibit.

About the Artist

Sarah Simmerman, an Arizona-based artist, uses her art to explore emotion and growth.
